Jim Kammerman was a four-year starter at Roanoke College. He captained the team, earned 1st Team All-ODAC and All-American honors, and was part of a National Championship Runner-Up team. In high school he was named All-State and All-FCIAC player. Coach Kammerman has served as a board member and coach for Trumbull Youth Lacrosse and was also the Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Trumbull High School. Recognized as WCOLA and FCIAC Coach of the Year, he has helped develop over 40 NCAA players. Both his sons currently play for Roanoke College.
